MODEL KEPEMIMPINAN KRISTEN YANG KREATIF DAN INOVATIF DALAM MENGHADAPI TANTANGAN ERA VUCA DENGAN ANALISIS SMART-PLS
Abstract

Abstract: A creative and innovative Christian leadership model serves as the key to addressing the challenges of the VUCA era (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity). This study aims to develop a relevant Christian leadership model by employing a Smart-PLS approach to analyze the relationships between creativity, innovation, and leadership effectiveness. Data were collected through surveys conducted with leaders of YHS Church in Makassar. The statistical analysis using Smart-PLS produced a final model illustrating the relationships between Creativity, Innovation, and Effectiveness in addressing the challenges of the VUCA era. The model visualization revealed significant paths: Creativity - Effectiveness (Path Coefficient = 0.75, T-value = 3.2), indicating that creativity has a highly significant positive influence. Innovation - Effectiveness (Path Coefficient = 0.60, T-value = 2.5) confirmed that innovation also plays a critical role in supporting leadership effectiveness. The results show that creativity has a direct significant impact on leadership effectiveness, with innovation acting as a bridging mechanism for the implementation of creative ideas. The combination of creativity and innovation has been proven to enhance Christian leaders' responsiveness to VUCA dimensions, such as volatility and complexity, without compromising theological principles.
