KEWAJIBAN RUMAH TUHAN SEBAGAI MISI JURUSELAMAT BERDASARKAN INJIL MATIUS 28:19 DITENGAH-TENGAH JEMAAT MENURUT JOHN CALVIN

Abstract

Abstrak: Kewajiban Rumah Tuhan bukan hanya memberitakan firman, melakukan kunjungan kepada jemaat, membantu yang mengalami kesusahaan namun lebih kepada pertanggung jawaban jiwa jemaat sehingga fungsi gereja dapat benar-benar terealisasikan, persoalan yang muncul adalah: Apa itu rumah Tuhan sebagai Misi Juruselamat? Apa kewajiban rumah Tuhan terhadap misi Juruselamat? Bagaimana kewajiban rumah Tuhan sebagai misi Juruselamat  berdasarkan injil Mat 28:19 ditengah-tengah jemaat menurut John Calvin? Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan dan analisis isi. Hasil yang didapat adalah bahwa rumah Tuhan selain sebagai pastori/gedung gereja, punya kewajiban tugas, pekerjaan terhadap misi Juruselamat adalah membaptis orang dari segala bangsa, bukti bahwa memulainya kehidupan baru menjadi murid Kristus. Rumah Tuhan harus bermisi, menginjili, membaptis dan menjadikan pengikut Kristus yang diimbangi dengan tugas yaitu melaksanakan sakramen dan berkhotbah dimana Tuhan tempatkan agar kewajiban sebagai rumah Tugas bisa berfungsi sebagaimana yang Allah kehendaki.

Abstract: The obligation of the House of God is not only to preach the word, to make visits to the congregation, to help those who are in trouble, but rather to the responsibility of the soul of the congregation so that the function of the church can be truly realized, the problems that arise are: What is the house of God as the Savior's Mission? What is the obligation of the house of the Lord to the Savior's mission? What is the obligation of the house of God as the Savior's mission based on the gospel of Matthew 28:19 in the midst of the congregation according to John Calvin? This research method uses qualitative methods through literature study and content analysis. The results obtained are that God's House apart from being a pastor/church building, has duties, the work of the Savior's mission is to baptize people from all nations, proof that starting a new life is becoming a disciple of Christ. The house of God must have a mission, evangelize, baptize and make followers of Christ which is balanced with the task of carrying out the sacraments and preaching where God has placed so that the obligations as a house of Duty can function as God wants.
