Abstract

This study analyzes the integration of Christian Religious Education Theology (PAK) with Pancasila values to shape the leadership character of the church in Indonesia. This study departs from the relevance of theological education in preparing church leaders who are not only theologically competent but also able to respond to social and political challenges in a multicultural society. This research aims to identify the principles of leadership in the Book of Nehemiah that can be adapted in the context of Pancasila values. The method used is a systematic literature review, analyzing relevant academic sources, including international journals, theological books, and Bible commentaries. Literature searches are conducted through reputable databases using specific keywords, followed by snowballing techniques to complete the references. The results of the study show that Nehemiah's leadership principles, such as integrity, vision, and social justice, are in line with the values of Pancasila, especially in the aspects of unity, humanity, and mutual cooperation. The implication of this integration is the development of Christian religious education oriented towards social transformation, where church leaders can play a significant role in building inclusive and equitable communities. In conclusion, the integration of Pancasila values in PAK Theology offers a model of church leadership that is relevant to Indonesia's socio-cultural needs. This research makes a significant contribution to the development of contextual Christian leadership studies, by opening up opportunities for further empirical research evaluating the impact of the application of these values in the context of church and community life.
